Positioning device for stress imaging of the knee (OSSKAR)

The Oxford Stress System for Knee Arthroplasty Radiographs (OSSKAR) is a medical device for positioning the lower limb for stress imaging of the knee. The device positions the lower limb for valgus and varus stress imaging of the knee using a standardised technique without the requirement for the clinician or additional healthcare practitioner.

Indications

Assessment of the pattern and severity of arthritis within the medial and lateral compartments of the adult knee.
Assessment of the status of the ligamentous structures within the adult knee (collateral and cruciate ligaments).
